JONATHON STOKES
Jonathon is a litigator with 33 years experience in private practice having previously been a partner in two major regional practices. He has run cases in the County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and House of Lords along with the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
His expertise in dispute resolution is very broad and includes commercial litigation, contract, business, partnership, property and boundary disputes. He advises both employers and employees on employment related matters and is a very experienced advocate. He is involved in Land Registry adjudication matters and landlord and tenant disputes.
He is waiting to see how RB Falcons fair under their new ownership; and recently had the pleasure of watching the victorious 2025 British & Irish Lions in Australia.

ANGELA CURRAN
A litigator of 28 years’ experience Angela has been a
partner in International and regional law firms. A biochemist by initial
training Angela particularly enjoys the forensic aspect of interrogating
evidence and getting to the bottom of things. Her clients have been drawn from
a wide geographical area ( Plymouth to the Borders) purely on the basis of her
reputation. She has mediated disputes in other jurisdictions.
Her experience ranges across all medical disciplines and she has pursued cases against NHS Trusts, GPs, The Ambulance Service, private clinicals and hospitals and alternative therapists.
She has experience of disciplinary hearings before the GMC and is a keen advocate with lots of experience in the Coroners Court.
Angela has specialised in clinical negligence for over 25 years and has particular expertise in birth trauma litigation representing children who have been brain damaged at birth. She has won over £100 million in compensation for clients and recently secured over £24 million for one child.
She is a longstanding member of The Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and also the AVMA Panel.
Angela spends much of her time now using her extensive
experience to mediate clinical negligence and personal injury matter at various
stages of the dispute. She also acts as a Court of Protection Deputy for people
who cannot manage heir own affairs.
